Katie Burdeaux has seven years experience providing pitching and hitting private lessons for fast-pitch softball players of all skill levels. She has also participated in coaching many softball clinics to high school and collegiate athletes.
Katie is from Winter Springs, Florida. She attended Trinity Preparatory School (2003-2005), where she lettered in softball and volleyball. In softball, she was elected Gatorade Player of the year for the state of Florida, first team All-Central Florida and first team All-district. In her final year of school, she was selected Female Athlete of the year for her HS and made the Senior All-star team.
Next, Katie attended Temple University (2005-2009). Katie started all four years as a pitcher and designated hitter for the Temple Owls. She was ranked nationally in both hitting and pitching categories. She was named to the Philly “City Six” All-Star team to compete against the Philadelphia Force. Katie is the only Temple Owl in school history to pitch a perfect game.
Katie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Psychology and a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University. Currently, Katie is a Physical Therapist at G2 Sports Therapy in Sammamish, WA. She specializes in overhead shoulder, return to sport and injury prevention rehabilitation.
