- Drafted and signed by the Texas Rangers in 2003 out of high school.

- Spent 2003-2009 in Texas Rangers system
- Spent the 2010 season with the Chicago White Sox organization
- Hawaii Winter Baseball All-Star 2007
- Midwest League Mid Season and Post Season All-Star 2008
- Rated “Best Power Prospect” for the Midwest League in 2008 by Baseball America
- South Atlantic League Mid Season All-Star 2010
- .262 Average with 91 Home Runs & 300 RBIs last 4 seasons

- Has been giving private hitting & infield instruction to young players in the Seattle Area for the past 7 years
